If you are interested in learning more, follow this link and check out this new class. It will be available live, on Zoom and also will be recorded so it can be accessed when you have time to take it in. Here's the link: https://faithlife.com/posts/5603852The Center For Discipleship - The End is Near? - FaithlifeWith so much chaos and confusion going on in the world, you may have wondered if we’re living in the end times—and you may have even seen predictions that say we are. But while God’s Word encourages us to be ready for Jesus’s return, it also reminds us that “concerning that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father only” (Matthew 24:36, ESV). Nevertheless, we are encouraged to be ready! We may not know the day or the hour, but we can know the season and not be caught by surprise by these things. Want to go deeper and find peace and consolation in having understanding of God's plan for His creation? That's what this class is all about! Using God's Word as our guide and the resources of Koinonia House and exegetical commentaries, we will study these three books: Ezekiel, Daniel and Revelation. Classes will be on Mondays at 10:00 am at The Center for Discipleship beginning on January 15, 2024. You may also join via Zoom. We will also be archiving the videos and discussion in the group in the "Contents>Files" section. We will delve into the imagery, symbolisms and parallels found in Scripture. We will shed light on difficult concepts and passages and use Scripture to comment on Scripture! It will be an incredible journey!faithlife.com

- What identifies a true Believer is how his life expresses thankfulness. It is way too easy to be ungrateful, complaining, argumentative and so on. Instead, let's make every effort to find the good in every situation and if no good can be found, then to be thankful to the One who is in control of ALL things. Happy Thanksgiving! Take a listen to these Scriptures and thoughts recorded recently.
- If we truly believe, as Paul points out in Romans 8:28... "And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose"... what then do we have to complain about?
